Exploring The Chakra System
Friday, May 16th, 2008The chakra system was discovered thousands of years ago by an ancient culture in India. That’s a simplistic way of putting it, but I want to keep this simple for now.
The best way to define the chakra system is to say it’s a map of points along the human internal energy channels. If you’ve ever seen an acupuncture chart, or perhaps even a “pressure points” demonstration at a martial arts center, you should have some idea of what I mean by internal energy system.
Essentially, there are specific points that can be found along the central meridian of our torso that relate to various mental, emotional, and physical functions. Additionally, these energy centers are a gateway to esoteric understanding and higher consciousness.
While it’s not crucial that you understand this system, I wanted to make a post about it because I truly believe anyone can benefit from the study of what I like to call transcendant health. Think of it like this:
Learning the nature of the chakra system is like studying the “source code” of the human being. You can learn to correct serious problems by addressing them at their root energies, and can open the door to higher thinking and incredible spiritual power.
Anyone who has an interest in the law of attraction and path to abundance philosophy should spend a little time learning more about the chakra system. Again, there’s no need to become an expert - just play and have some fun.
I think you’ll find even a little knowledge can be extremely empowering.
