Instead of reading books and watching videos to figure out if the law of attraction is real, why not just put it to the test and find out for sure? This article will give you a blueprint for testing the law of attraction in your own life.

Step Two – Experience What You Want

Think about something that you would like to have or experience, and start with something small. Maybe you would like to see a particular old friend who has been absent for some time. Or perhaps you would appreciate an unexpected $50 in some form or another. Form a very vivid image of yourself holding your target desire or immersed in the experience you want.

Imagine this desire as if it were happening right now. See, hear, feel, even taste every details as clearly as possible. And begin to feel thankful for what it is you want to have or experience.

Step Three – Trust

After being filled with happiness and thanksgiving for your life, and calling forth the vivid image of something you desire, your next step is to allow the feeling or relaxed trust to wash over you. It is now a reality, and only a matter of time before you are holding or experiencing the thing you want.

Think of a time when you were in the car, on your way to pick up something you really wanted. You had the money in your pocket, and the store was holding the item until you arrived.

This is exactly the kind of sensation you need to call up for this step. Feel a sense of trust enter your awareness, as if you are only ten minutes away from holding your desire in your hand or watching it become a reality.

Don’t get hung up on the actual when, just relate to the feeling of imminence.

Perform these three simple steps on a daily basis. Don’t spend any energy on looking over your shoulder and wondering where your desire is; just be grateful for it and trust that it is on the way to you now.

Your Creative Power Made Simple

Long before hit movies like the Secret made the law of attraction a popular theme, it was intuitive knowledge that we create our own future. There are many viewpoints as to how this actually happens, but the most effective approach is often the simplest.

Manifestation exercises abound these days. That’s a good thing, because it means more and more people are taking responsibility for their lives and for their role in society.

But I urge the reader not to get lost in the search for the “best technique.” The truth is you can keep the whole process of attraction simple and still get awesome results.

Here’s an example from my own life:

Not long ago (at the time of this writing) my new laptop was destroyed in an unfortunate mishap. And I do mean completely destroyed beyond any hope of possible repair.

Needless to say I found this pretty distracting. I love working on projects in the local bookstore café, and it’s hard to drag my desk and cable connection all the way down there so the laptop is a fairly important piece of equipment for me.

What to do?

Well, like many people I spent the first hour or so feeling sorry for myself and wondering how the universe could have let this happen. Never mind the catastrophe being blatantly my fault, I was going to have my pity party.

This passed, and I got down to the business of planning how I would get another laptop. I could just go buy a new one, but I had another idea.

I decided that I was going to be “sent” a replacement laptop within the next week. I relaxed my mind and body, thought about this for a few minutes, became convinced it was the absolute truth, then let it go and got on with my day.

Two days later the phone rang. My friend Pete had just bought a new laptop and wanted to give me (for free!) his old one!

How’s that for some fabulous attraction in action?

What is the science behind all this? Well some people would say it’s just a fluke, but since this stuff happens to me all the time I know better.

I won’t pretend to know the exact atomic reasons for this, but I will say that having a relaxed mind and body and projecting my intention with confidence and cheer have produced some amazing results. Let me emphasize the part about a relaxed mind and body.

A lot of material leaves this out, and I believe many people don’t get what they try to attract because they fail to be relaxed and in harmony when they visualize. It’s been well-known for thousands of years that a relaxed mind and body bring more focus and power into play, and it only makes sense to apply this to our visualization exercises.

Spend a few minutes doing some deep breathing exercises, or just lying in a comfortable position while listening to soothing music. Once you have attained a blissful state, then go into your visualizations.
